It's terrible allergy season right now . . . so she could have bad allergies . . . and you know how doctors love to prescribe antibiotics for even a case of the sniffles . . . just in case. Or she could be really sick and you need to take the necessary precautions so you do not get sick.
Since she said she is coughing then that means her germs are not only on the surfaces in her home, but in the air too. You can wear a mask if you want, but definitely no hand shaking, do not touch your face, your eyes, your nose, or your mouth at all during the closing until you get back out to your car and can sanitize. Do not touch the doorknob of her house on the way in or out. Do not use the restroom at her house. Wipe down the table where you will be placing your paperwork with Clorox Bleach Wipes. Leave the pen behind. When you get back to your car, wipe your hands with Clorox Bleach Wipes. An Ounce of Prevention is worth a Pound Of Cure.
