Long ago, had a very interesting conversation with a former NSA who had started an SS. Made good money & paid good money...until...they landed a very large client, who paid monthly, but would not pay for no-fund/sign/RTC used--but, being a good SS, they paid for these/cutting into profit. After just a few months, their receivables were so messed up they couldn't figure out which signings were included in 'this check', but the expected checks were ALWAYS short. They still paid NSA while watching their own profit dwindle...dwindle...dwindle--while fighting with client--who kept telling them either 1)you were paid for this one OR 2)well, that didn't fund, so you weren't paid for that one. SS had no way to determine 'truth or fiction'. Just a cautionary tale. |
