I Have A Question For Jennifer Mumford
Posted by  PegiT_MN of MN on 1/8/20 3:11pm Msg #614403
I read this entire thread and I do have some questions. I understand that you work for this law firm part time as a legal assistant and you also have a notary business as well.

When you are working as a W-2'd employee at the law firm, do you take calls, texts, or e mails from title companies, signing companies, or the general public for closings or general notary work?

When you are working at the law firm, do you utilize their equipment and supplies for your notary business (i.e., printer, paper, pens, scanner, fax machine, computer, telephone, etc.)?

It is common knowledge that a lot of notaries do this as a "side gig" and do use their employers' equipment, supplies, and time they are on the clock for their notary work.
