... he starts attacking Hillary Clinton again. This AM on Twitter he demanded to know why no one is investigating the Clintons ties to Russia, including what he claims was allowing the Russians to buy our uranium; he repeated this just a few minutes ago.
Well, sir, the reasons probably include: a) they've already been investigated, reported on, and dismissed, b) she's not the President - you are, and c) we know the reason you keep dragging her out is that you need a diversion.
I have never seen such a sore winner. His supporters like to say, "He won, she lost, get over it." Maybe he should take their advice.
Today during an appearance in which he touted the idea that he was going to bring coal mining jobs back (he won't - the industry is on life support), he took credit for yet another increase in jobs that he had absolutely nothing to do with - Ford's plan to invest $1.2 billion in Michigan, which had been in the works since 2015. None of the job growth he has announced and claimed since his election has been due to his efforts - it was all already in the planning stages well before the election.
While talking about Michigan today, he reminisced briefly about how wonderful a night it was in Michigan on Nov 8 - why does he keep bringing up the election? I know he has a fragile ego and is insecure, but this is ridiculous. The election was 4 months ago, and he won. Despite his claims, it was not a landslide, it was not a record-setting Electoral College victory, and the crowd at his inauguration was not anywhere near the largest ever - and yet he cannot stop himself from trying to convince others of what a great victory it was. Donald, you won by a total of 70,000 votes spread over 3 states - it was that close. Take your victory and move on. |
