Seriously? Let's be clear... If this country ends up in a recession again in another year or so it will not be because of any 'praying' that might be done by folks on the 'left'. It will be a direct result of actions currently being taken by Trump and the GOP leadership in Congress. We are just at the beginning stages of seeing the impact of their budget and economic (and other) policies.
I don't believe the Dems are the ones who are looking for a certain political outcome regardless of the consequences or who gets hurt. (Some on the extreme left, however, might be heading that way - on a smaller scale, imo - with certain *other* policies, but that's a whole other subject.)
