If it wasn't for Putin, Trump probably doesn't get elected.
Today's "summit" was an unmitigated disaster - even some on Fox News are now turning against him, although it still tends to be State TV.
When POTUS stands on the world stage next to a brutal dictator who orchestrated an attack on our electoral system - all thoughts of possible collusion aside and only focusing on the attack itself - and not only takes the side of our enemy rather than that of the men and women who work hard daily to keep our country safe, but insults and denigrates them in the process, there's something seriously wrong.
Trump embarrassed us in front of the entire world today; even members of his own party are upset by his performance. I have heard the words "treason" and "traitor" tossed around today - it can't be treason because that requires a declaration of war, but "traitor" might apply because it involves a betrayal of trust. He has a constitutional duty to defend us, and today he chose to defend Russia instead. |
