Posted by  Christine/OK of OK on 5/29/17 7:48am Msg #28713
According to the American Kennel Club: "The answer, emphatically, is no."

"Symptoms of anemia include pale mucous membranes, rapid breathing, lethargy, weakness, jaundice, and dark colored urine. Garlic toxicity also causes symptoms of gastrointestinal upset, including vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, depression, and dehydration."

For a comprehensive review of how much, supplements, toxicity levels, garlic alternatives, etc. see: http://www.akc.org/content/health/articles/can-dogs-eat-garlic/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20170525_content_yourakc
