Our nephew, Kory, is a fire captain with Cal Fire. He works out of Riverside County, tho. But, when we heard the news that a fireman with Cal Fire named Kory had been killed....well, we were on the phone checking with "our" Kory immediately. Different spelling. Such a tragedy. We went this past summer to a graduation of firemen at Cal Fire. I have never met such a professional, dedicated group of men and women in my life. Just phenomenal dedicated individuals.
