Congratulations on your progress; keep at it. I totally forgot about the muscle atrophy, but that took awhile to rebuild.
My surgeon used to tell me to "squash the egg" as a goal for practicing to flatten my knee/leg. That visual helped me.
4 1/2 years post surgery the scar is barely visible; people don't notice it unless I point it out. That happens sometimes when going thru metal detectors.
Also, I could not kneel for 6-12 months, but I adapted. I liked to swim, so that was also an exercise I did slowly.
