My corns loves heat, apparently as it is soaring more than 12 feet in the air.
fruit trees and grape vines are happy. I was up early this morning watering at 6. At 8am, I see a bellow of white smoke 1 mile away and called it in to Calfire. Two bombers and a scout plane were here in minutes. It was a property occupied by a neighbor, lost power so they couldn't call out. No cellular service. They were probably out dousing the fire with garden hoses.
