I met an 80 yo poet this week at office store. She crushes it at poetry slams, and her regular bookings include nursing homes.
She told me that she even sells her books out of her car! Found out that she didn't start writing until age of 60 after the death of her husband. While I was waiting for my photo reprints, she pulled up a facebook page of one of her lively performances. Quite an inspiration . . . So I'm thinking there may be hope for retiring mobile notaries. Pursue your talent and take acknowledgments between shows. |
