That’s my attitude too, progress! It’s where it’s at! :-) That’s awesome that you’re moving forward. It’s really nice to encourage each other (and ourselves) and re-freshen our repertoire with a little umph in the funk, in that gentle up/down dance that we all do. Keeping things balanced and steady, and moving forward.
Thanks for the Walk at Home link! It's great! I have plenty of days when I don’t exercise outside due to the weather - unlike Bigfoot Bear :-) who bravely conquers the elements on the solo morning suburban streets :-) This will be a good tool for my toolbox, thank you! I checked-out one that had an excellent warm-up and gradually went into upper arms, and leg raises, then warming-up the entire body. It’s great for circulation! I also like the variety. Something I like about adding years to life, is enjoying different challenges by exposing myself to new things (I got that from my Mom, who was hands-down one of the most open-minded people I’ve known). Youtube’s great for that! There’s this one guy I’ve been looking at lately - he mixes humor with his workouts. I like his balanced, informative approach. My chiropractor has me working on the spine, abdomen and glutes, this butt one cracks me up - great exercises too. http://youtu.be/JMEqPeiUyfQ?si=VXBbUAMqPZpk8kjB
He gives an anatomy class in this one. My husband’s shoulder was bugging him, so I checked it out, I was also thinking that Bear might like it. http://youtu.be/_-oHVOrZEWw?si=lcabw1REGRQsCe3G
Happy moving! :-) Sometimes I have to really pry my nimble fingers from the keyboard... (argh, squeak) .....and Get on UP! like James Brown. http://youtu.be/z8M7Q11QHFE?si=KIexUP0sHp-hCYUU |
