Great deal on laser all-in-one.....
Costco has a Brother MFC-7840W (wireless) on sale this week for $179.99 (after $70 off) & a toner deal to go with it @ 39.99 w/$20 off. Shipping is free. Offer good 'til Sun. This unit is selling for $299 elsewhere. I've been looking to replace my HP3050 because I need a scanner that will scan to pdf. Too good a deal not to pass along for anyone who's in the market.

I have an HP3050 and it WILL scan as a pdf if you set it up that way.

Yes, I've done that, but I'm ready for a different kind of document feeder.

I saw that one and wanted to look into to it, so thanks for the reminder. Do you know if the flatbed scanner handles legal size?

Another question re: wireless requirements
I haven't gone wireless yet with any of my in-office equipment. To any of you experts out there, would I need a wireless router or other equipment to use a printer like this? Any other special pc requirements? Any and all suggestions / comments much appreciated.

Thanks! Brothers are pretty good - they have much fewer
paper jams than my 2 Canons!

My only problem with my Brother is I get paper-curl
every now and then - not all the time, but even a slight curl will shove all the printed pages out onto the floor!!
I'm happy with my MFC 8460 thought.

Sorry about my first post.... Brothers are pretty good
I have been using the Brother HL5340D for the past two years and love the performance.
