I was given the finger by BO!
After we plodded our way through the "every signer initial every page of every document" process, I told the BO's that I was going to take a couple of minutes to flip through each page to make sure we hadn't missed anything. I made a flippant comment about not having any of that "tacky finger" stuff to help flip pages and that while I would like a rubber fingertip, I wasn't about to buy the requisite boxful when I only needed one. BO pulled open her desk drawer and gave me a gift...a rubber fingertip! She had a bunch. So as I was leaving, I laughingly told them I would always remember them each time I used "the finger"! (I love it when I have friendly, sociable borrowers that you can have a joke with.)

Cute post, but those fingers DO wear out! I've gone thru
several boxes. They are life/ loan savers & well worth the $2.50 (for a box of 12)! :-)

Great story. I often joke with the borrowers that the
rubber fingertip is one of my least expensive but most valuable tools. LOL
