Need techie help with Adobe.... aaaarrrggghh
Running Windows 2000 and Adobe 9.4.5. (which I think I just recently updated to this version). Old HP 1200 printer, single tray (that I'm OK with...have printing letter/legal down to a science) Or rather, did, until just recently.
What I used to do was View>Navigation>Pages and thumbnails would show. I could then select (click) on only the thumbnail of pages I wanted to print.
Now 'clicking on thumbnail pages I want to print' doesn't work. I have poked around endlessly trying to find a solution and all I can now figure is I NEED A NEW PRINTER DRIVER (due to the recent update???) Except, I know I've updated Adobe numerous times and have NOT had this problem with earlier updates... so that scares me no end.
Questions? Am I missing something? Do I not need a new driver, but need to do something else? If it is a driver problem...where the devil do I go to fix it?
As you can tell, I'm not an expert so please use little words.

Windows 2000? wow. In all seriousness, consider updating to a newer OS. Not being flippant, but that is an old OS and newer adobes will phase out support for older OS's eventually.

Have you thought about maybe restoring your computer back to an earlier day when everything was working properly? I've had to do it a few times when I've allowed an update that ended up messing things up. On your search button type: backup and restore. Follow the directions to restore to an earlier date. Good luck.

I suggest reinstalling adobe. Delete old program (start -> control panel-> programs-> uninstall programs and reinstall as a first step. Are you using Reader or Acrobat?

Re: Reader
Lee shouldn't take you more than 15 mins. to complete. Go to www.download.com (from CNET) and get the version you need. Hope this helped. Should be relatively painless to do - provided the issue lies with adobe reader.
