Power of attorney signings
what is proper way to handle notarizing Grant Deed when spouse is signing for Hubby who is not present. Do we (I ) input the verbaige on the notary page that x by y AIF?

Asked who hired you how they want it. Then your not guessing. Each title company does things a little different

If the OP is referring to the notary certificate
then how to complete the notary cert is not up to the TC or SS - that's the notary's domain and sole discretion - and I'd wager it won't look really good if the notary that's hired calls and asks their hiring party "how do I complete my certificates?"...
If unsure, refer to your handbook.

The ONLY name that goes in an acknowledgment (or jurat) is the person appearing before you. If the person is not there in front of you, their name does not go in the acknowledgment (or jurat).
Only names go in the acknowledgments or jurats - no titles after the names. Okay to put Jr. or Sr. as in Fred H. Lee, Sr. or Fred H. Lee, Jr.
