Priority Notary _ Payment Received
Eric has asked me to post - Payment received and issues resolved.

What a sad state this profession has reached
when payment and not even necessarily timely payment is something that both hiring and hired parties feel necessary to publically state.
One timely payment after many late or non payments would not repair an individual's credit report. So why should one post regarding any company with a poor payment history repair their reputation?
Side Note: I'm glad you were paid. I've never worked for Eric.

This is a 4-star company in SC - doesn't look like their
reputation has been hurt at all..maybe the ratings need to be updated there.

Priority Notary does NOT have a poor payment history.
Eric has always paid me, and most other notaries, on a very timely basis. He's one of the good guys out there.
Maybe Meri was just asked to post a resolution to her initial post of an issue.

Re: Priority Notary does NOT have a poor payment history.
I have always been paid in a timely fashion from Eric. I am sure there was some contributing issues that caused the payment delay to Meri. I do not know any of the details, but not all payment snafus are due to one side only.

I'd bet that that's the case. I agree that Eric is one of the good guys. I happened to have spoken with him the day of that other post and he mentioned it to me before I even had a chance to read it. I got the impression that it bothered him that a payment may have slipped through the cracks. I believe that he not only cares about his reputation, but that he also truly wants to do right by people.
No doubt there are lots of negatives going on in our business these days, but I think it's in everyone's best interest if we're careful about jumping to conclusions and making generalizations.
