ServiceLink
two calls in the last couple of days... #1 loan modification 50 miles R/T for $35 #2 loan modification 32 miles R/T $35 would not go any higher. Anyone else see these very low rates?

Yep. I simply refuse to leave the house for any company for $35.00. My suggestion to Servicelink is to mail the borrower a check for $25 and have them go to their nearest Bank of America to have the paperwork signed and notarized.
BTW, I read recently that the banks are getting $1,000 bonus money from the government for every loan they modify.

Maybe not. The Feds are threatening to withhold those payments to banks that haven't done enough to move the program along - not enough mods made, not enough mortgages saved. Which, IMO, is only fair - the whole point of the program was to keep people in their homes, and the banks have been dragging their heels in getting that done. I could say more, but that discussion probably belongs in Just Politics...

I get more for GN work and don't need to wait 30-45 days for payment. Work smart make money. Got a call for GN work 11pm last night, charged 50 and they gave me a 50 dollar tip. (biggest tip in 10 years of this work)

I had one today, after told my fees too high and i might get tossed. I get confirmation for $35, told them to pass that on, I would not entertain that price. Sad, sad
