Stewart Title Co.... They want me to pay them a $25 dollar fee, so they can verify the Background check I had done on myself is legit.. What am I missing here??

What a day, indeed! Pay them to verify a BGC? LOL

BTW, this is one of the cos. that XYZ "sold" on the idea of bgc's in the first place, so XYZ could make the money on the bgc's.
Considering the state of the industry, this is just plain ridiculous!!

Probably too late now, but my suggestion is to tell them, you'll pay, but when they verify it is the real thing, they pay you back $50.00 to cover your expenses!

lol I thought it was funny. I will certainly not pay them a dime. Take it or leave it. The whole background check idea is ridiculous if you ask me. If this is the case, letsget the Companies, and the clients, etc to do one also. I sure have nothing to hide, but If the companies want this done, they should pay for it, is how i feel. Oh boy is it good to be back lol
