FEES BEING CHARGED
I would like to know what are the fees that you are charging for standard signing, edocs, copies etc.

The way FlaNotary2 can do this is he does many signings between 1:00 am - 5:00 am every day. It's a good time because everyone is home from work.

Robert, is that in Mexican Peso's?
Exchange rate (to $US) today has a value of ~ $775.00 http://tinyurl.com/78um5r9
What happened to your usual "tell new people the truth about the industry" speeches?
On a side note - Your post did get a laugh out of me

You're right; I think we should tell them the truth
and the truth is, that this is an oversaturated business and we should discourage newbies from getting involved in it. But, that is not the way it goes on this board; everyone fills the new poster with false hopes and "inspirational messages", so I might as well jump on the bandwagon.
And that's $10,000 Euros, not Pesos

While he meant that to be sarcastic, there are a few
NSA's actually making that kind of money. I don't, but there are a couple of regs on this board making six-figure incomes. A word of caution here, because a certain national notary organization sells this profession as very lucrative. It's a tough biz, you need to build a business from the ground up, and the rewards vary greatly.

You have to figure out what your own overhead is
and charge accordingly after taking travel and time into consideration. We can't do that for you.

We dare not tell, because..................................
it is too easy to violate price-fixing laws (Sherman Anti-Trust) and be considered guilty of consorting to set fees. Perhaps HisHughness will chime in on this one, if he's not too tired of doing so many times over the years.

Do the research here by using the orange SEARCH button and
try to ignore the resident pesky knat that will appear out of nowhere at times on this forum - do what we all do - swat it out of your way!
POWFL, if you're a NEWBIE, I'd advise to keep using that organge Search button to gain valuable NSA information from this site.
Good luck!

Re: Do the research here by using the orange SEARCH button and
Also a nice answer and some good advice. I think in the beginning the important thing is not as much how much you are being paid is IF you will get paid. So you need to see who the "good payers" are. Actually is is not so bad if you have to work for some of the lower paying companies in the beginning as long as they pay. I am sure we all did that. It is like any oher job. No experience. That is how you get it. Take less money. Do a good job. Get experience. You are worth more money. Or should be anyhow. No big mystery. My opinion of course.

hmmmm, ?????, Is that $10,000 every month?
I don't mean to be cynical, but I really find it hard to believe that an NSA is consistently making $10,000 a month in this market (although it HAS picked up as of late.) Not that I'm contradicting you in any way Claudine. I believe YOU, I am just skeptical of their sincerity. It's certainly not unheard of, but...
But then again, I live in the NYC Metro Area where you don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. After all, "ain't nobody sellin me the Brooklyn Bridge." tee hee
I'd have to see tax returns to believe that; considering today's market with the fees being reduced to the extent that they have been, it's hard to assimilate that no matter what the location.
