Seneca One

I received a call from a friend in another state who is also a notary. She said she was contacted by Inscribing Pursuits and asked to perform a Structured Settlement signing for Seneca One for $85.00 (which she did not accept). Seneca One has lowered its fees because they feel that the notaries are overpaid. I have worked with Rikki at Inscribing Pursuits for years. She has always been fair in her pricing, timely in her payments, professional and very pleasant. I gladly accept assignments from Inscribing Pursuits because of Rikki's integrity. However, Seneca One has insulted us by expecting us to accept such lowball fees. They have undermined and devalued us as professionals and their action will have a tremendously negative impact on Rikki and her business. I for one will not work for Seneca One until they restore fair pricing.

I'm in complete agreement. Rikki is great! As far as the

structured settlement cos. go, they make a lot of money on those deals. I can't believe they think we're overpaid to go to sometimes undesirable places, get signatures, faxback all the docs, etc. Granted, it's not a large pkg. like a refi, but involves almost as much time invested.

COMPLETELY AGREE

The size of the package shouldn't always dictate price. I'm still carving out time in my schedule to print docs, go to the signer's residence, ID, photograph the ID, sign, notarize and FAX BACK all the docs.
Seneca One's pricing is insulting!
