I met her at the same time. It was at the NNA convention in
LasVegas. Roger/OH and a few other Notroters were there also. We had an interesting chat. I connected Victoria with Victoria Rivera, one of the first members of the old National Association of Signing Agents and its first, (and as I recall , only) NASA Notary of the Year. Victoria Rivera wrote the first difinitive book on NSA work, "Just Point and Sign" Victoria Ring had some excellent marketing ideas and concepts. I thought that it would a good association to team her up with Victoria Rivera's notary and signing agent expertise. I know that they worked together for a while in educating NSAs. RIP, Victoria.

Although I never heard of her, I want to offer belated condolences to her family and friends. I would had loved to have met her since she's in the same field as me to get info on starting a virtual business. I hope her books and CD's are still available for purchase.
Thanks for the info, Cari!

Kay, I think that second link is to her website, and I haven't checked it out, but perhaps you can find some of her books or materials there. I bought her signing agent material on Amazon when I first started out in this biz, so I'd try there as well. =)

Thanks for letting us know, Carri. Victoria was a force - a whirlwind of ideas and full of life. Still, all her books, CDs and projects aside, she was always there to help and freely share.

Victoria was from here in Columbus, and we crossed paths a few times. Although I had a number of issues with her notary knowledge, I had to hand it to her when it came to marketing. She seemed to have found her niche in the bankruptcy area, and I'm sure she would have made further contributions to it.
Always sad for someone to leave way too soon.

When I was investigating this NSA field I ran accross a book by Ms. Ring.."How to Start, Operate and Market a Freelance Notary signing Agent Business".
I ordered it and followed her plan to the letter..Within weeks of doing so I got my first call to do a loan closing..I have been going strong every since!
Thank You Ms. Ring!

This is so unexpected; thanks, Cari.
I can't find much about it...no obit, no listing on legacy.com...weird. I wish I could remember that lady's name who was her good friend/assistant.
I believe that Victoria was about 50 years old. I believe that she also had diabetes...this is what I think that I remember from one of her books. She occasionally mentioned other health problems...but please do not take this as fact. I'm sad and sorry to see her gone too soon.
Good-bye, Victoria. Rest in peace.
