Certified
Found this in my files It is from profile page from 2007 Experience 6 years mobile Notary signing specialist BBA Finance Grad Studies Mgt. U.S.M.C. Platoon Leaders and Aerial Navigation Schools Certifications and Awards USMNC.org Certified Signing Specialist Associations American Society of Notaries N.J. Notary Assn.
USMNC.org Was United States Mobile Notary Corp A web site I set up just to show how worthless certifications were. You had to have at least 5 years experience and had to have done min. 500 signings and pass a multiple choice test with 10 questions. I got 100% on the test I wrote. ps I used this tern because my lawyer did not like the word "Agent" being used by a Notary Public

Re: Certified Signing Specialist

Re: Hmm... is right ...
You may have an issue with the so-called SPW, aka you-know-who (XYZ). Hugh, what do you know about copyright infringements?

Re: Certified Signing Specialist
You can't copyright a phrase. It would be a trademark, which is a different animal altogether.

Very interesting. Because I am aware, I know that the new
term doesn't even have the word "notary" in it. hmmmmm Also, I'm careful not to use the word "certified" here in VA, because there is no state certification distinction. I have only been able to advertise "certified by XYZ" for example. I know from experience, because I did that cert/bgc check years ago when I was starting up. I did it because I felt I had to have that icon by my name in order to be competitivie. I'm not buying into that game now. I'm sure my "standards" are higher than the one's being set down, and that organization doesn't meet my standards!

I understand that you could become a certified signing agent from nna without being a notary. May be same to get CSS.
