HVR: Word on the street .....
... is that Hector Vides is shuttling regularly between sunny San Diego and chilly Chicago, where his mamma, Giron, Porres Argelia lives. The very same Giron, Porres Argelia who is listed as sole owner of HVR Mobile Notaries, according to the Fictitious Business Name statement on file with San Diego County.
Prior to this current activity, he left scores of notaries unpaid. More and more are posting nearly every day on NR about how he and his employees made empty promises to pay for work performed months and months and months ago. His former cohorts at HVR are now running their own SS. Hector told his notaries (who made him rich so he could vacation in Cancun, party at the Polo Club and live in a high rise apartment) that he'd pay them something by October 21. Apparently this is also untrue ...so his word is no good.
I wonder if mommy even knows she's listed as the real owner of HVR Mobile Notaries? Some notary might file suit against her for nonpayment and wake her up. Hector himself appears to be immune since no one can seem to find a business license with his name on it, despite statements by his former employee, JJ of the new Sign Here, that Hector was “the only owner of HVR.” Really? Is it possible even JJ didn't know who he was working for? Or is there more to that story? In any case, hopefully, the SD County DA's office will be able to locate Hector hiding under his mommy's skirts. Unpaid notaries can also try Hector at 619-272-0514.
Meanwhile, the NNA and Fidelity and FASS and BofA and gawd know who else have gone completely insane, focusing on notary purity and conduct while the real crooks in the signing agent business go completely scot free, accountable and responsible to no one. Once again, no one gives a crap about the notary ... as long as they can make money off of them - whether through outright theft (think SSs) or grand manipulation (think the evil geniuses at NNA).
Oh, and in case anybody wants to call Hector: 619-272-0514. Good luck. While the NNA, Fidelity, FASS and everybody else are focusing on notary purity and reliability, the real crooks in the signing agent business are going scott free with no one calling for their accountability.

It's a crying shame that
so many companies this year have earned the title and inclusion in the notorious "Hall of Shamers", so many companies took a nose dive, following the complete and utterly arrogant stiffing of hard working notaries across the land.
How many more will join the ranks of the Hall of Shamers before the year is out, remains to be "experienced", but I hope everyone is on their toes and being very careful about who they extend credit to, not to mention, giving your social security numbers out to these uncaring, unethical SS company owners.
Shame on us if we allow these scammers to rob us of our hard earned fees.
