Land & Law Group, SC --- email "Approved"....
Cripes, these people just don't get it. After I received this latest email to sign-up, I will again respond & ask they remove me from any list they have, as I will never work for them. see my msg #471700. Just from the communication problems, I was suspicious. Then posts appeared where they aren't paying anyone who did. So, my suggestion is, forum members, if you get this email take the time to slam back w/a nastygram to the effect "we notaries won't work for people like you, who don't pay as promised". They are not rated in signing central, that I found, maybe not looking under the right name? my state? just a suggestion of what each of us can do to send the message that we listen to each other & won't work for SS who do not honor payment terms, or even come close.

I too got my second email from them to sign up today. I did sign up over a year ago and after learning about their scamming techniques asked to be removed from the data base. And yes I did tell them why and to get lost!!! The emails keep comin.

They're not just scamming, they're spamming...
I've never signed up with them or worked for them, but today, I got the following email from them:
************************ "I would like you to view the following documents in connection with the above-mentioned transaction in the documents , I uploaded using Google docs Click HERE and sign in with your personal email to view the important document.

************** The subject line simply said "Fund". There is no way I'm even going to click on that link! Except for the fact that they included contact info, I would have thought their email had been hacked (and I suppose that's still a possibility). Not impressed. This is going right into the delete bin.

Re: They're not just scamming, they're spamming...
I think the operative word is "phishing"... someone (probably not them) is trying to get you to open a doc that will at the very least reveal your email password.
Others here have reported getting similar emails from other signing services; the email just smells "phishy". Why would a company you've never done business with ask you to click on a link to "view the important document"?
There are other more technical signs you could look for, but just the nature of the message tells me that it's bogus. Their email address has been compromised; so much for securing the loan documents they're responsible for...
