PDF won't download

Does anyone know the reason why a PDF from an email will not download in Firefox. It will scan the document but will not download it. Thanks.

Is your Firefox up to date? It could be the document, too. Hope you've already found an answer by now...

When I downloaded the "new" firefox about three

months ago alot of things stopped working and I got a lot of messages saying "error downloading " when I tried to switch back I couldn't. I just gave up and switched over to Google chrome. No problems since.

I have seen "patches" to fix the firefox problem but didn't do it.

Thanks. Has not been fixed. Unfortunately, I had to return the assignment. Computer is going into my "go-to" computer guy today. Very frustrating, to say the least.
