SolutionStar regarding NationStar requirement
Received the email below yesterday from SolutionStar regarding a new requirement from their major account, NationStar. (note: I've worked with SolutionStar only once - good to know that was enough to be a "valued member of ... " ) ===========
Hello, As a valued member of our signing agent network, we are contacting you regarding a new requirement for our vendors. One of our largest clients, Nationstar Mortgage, is now requiring faxbacks of the critical documents on every closing. There will be a checklist of required documents in each Nationstar closing package. You will be asked to fax or scan/email the listed documents as soon as possible after the closing appointment. You can then drop the signed closing package at the nearest UPS location at your earliest convenience. It is extremely important that we receive the critical documents within 8 business hours of the closing so we can send them to the client.. If you have any questions or issues, please contact the Nationstar Closing Team at 877-530-7977. Guess my fees to them just rose.

Just checked back on job I did for them in April. Fax-backs then. Guess it's nothing new. They're just putting it in writing so when SolutionStar says signing is for NationStar, we know without asking if there're fax-backs.
Little do they know ... as a matter of SOP, I always ask.
