that I jumped hoops to make this title company look good after the boondoggle and the borrowers were impressed. Mr. Borrower was an hour late, so I went ahead and had the wife sign with the possibility of meeting him in their small town. But he finally made it home. So I get a call the next day from this title company that starts with an E. and the scheduler wanted me to close another loan, but she asked if anyone had discussed my fees. I said yes and reminded her that last night was an example of their failure to hire the experienced. I again told her my fees were firm. Never mind that we bail these people out. They did not just call ANY notary to go back on the botched job and the scheduler made that clear when she called me for the redo. But guess what? I did not get the job the scheduler called about. |
