on a regular basis to tell them I will be away. I also ask a couple of notaries I interact with in my area to cover for me (I've covered for them in the past) and bring my cellphone with me. When I receive a call while on vacation, I explain that I am not available and that Sue Z. Notary is covering for me and give her number to the caller.
