<<Two hours before the appointment is technically "on time">>

According to whom?! To me (and I'm guessing according to LuckyDog, too), "on time" docs would be received at least the night before. Two hours before signings is very last minute, IMO, and possibly late, depending on my schedule. This is the kind of thinking that some clients try to promote to notaries. They'd also like you to believe that 150 pages is a "normal" size package and that $75 is a 'fair' fee for a package without edocs... It hasn't always been that way - and it still isn't for many companies.

BTW, whenever you get around to upgrading your printer, you might be better off investing in something with dual trays so you won't have to deal with sorting pages. IMO, that's the biggest time (and money) saver. I have two back-up printers, but mostly use my main HP workhorse. The second set usually is done printing in less time that it takes me to (almost) complete the notary certificates. [I usually do the same thing as you - fill in everything but my signature and stamp. Smile] FWIW, I bought all my current printers used (with careful vetting) and they're all still getting the job done.
