It's your job to go where we are supposed to go male or female... NSA's are "mobile" It's not about what we want, it's more of that a convenience to the borrower. If you request to meet elsewhere, they will start requesting the buyer go to the title company, where they don't need you necessarily. If you are paranoid of something happening, time to move on to another occupation. I have never felt uncomfortable or uneasy at a closing, and as a professional who did this daily, would never cross my mind to make a false accusation against a client. When I meet people on vacation in a motel, we generally meet in the business center or lounge area.
I am sure many times, the borrower is uncomfortable letting a stranger in, house is a hoarder house, stints, wants their privacy, who knows... and those we usually meet at the realtor's office or elsewhere...we will never know, and no big deal, but I don't think it's for the NSA to move or change a location because of being paranoid of perhaps being accused of doing something inappropriate or visa versa.
