what my ex-boss used to do when clients did not pay.....
Posted by notarydi/CA on 4/21/18 2:31pm

He would pack himself a big lunch and have a big bottled water. He would show up in the lobby unpaid invoice in hand. He would ask for accounts payable and demand payment. Then he would camp out in the lobby....speaking to everyone about the money that he was owed. He was a big man as well. Could be quite intimidating. Anyway, they would usually threaten him with calling the police. He would say, knock yourself out. And, typically, they did not want the police in their lobby, so, they would cut him a check to get rid of him. And, the one time the police did come....the tables were quite turned on the dead-beat non-payer. The police had quite a discussion with the deadbeat....and my boss still got a check. Smile
