It appears you’ve misunderstood the payment terms. I’ve read the independent contractor agreement and both my husband and I regularly work for Prestige.
Regarding their weekly payments, they pay the week they receive payment from title. If they don’t receive payment timely then Prestige pays it regardless at 60 days.
Regarding fees, they always meet our fees. We see text alerts for anything from $65-$125. They are good about letting the Notary know if there are any special circumstances so you can negotiate with them. They will also increase the fee if something comes up once we’re assigned. I sometimes see the fees collected on the CD and it is not uncommon for our fee to be equal to or even more than what Prestige is charging.
A Notary signing agent must take responsibility for running their business and negotiating their fee. You can’t blame the service because you can’t or won’t negotiate with them. Shame on you for blaming them. |
