My fee for hybrids with Amrock is $150. That has not affected the fee for refi and I usually only accept Quicken Loans within 10-15 miles (depends on driving/traffic conditions).

When I gave Amrock that hybrid fee I figured I'd never hear from them for one. Lo and behold! they called me for one last week (verified with caller as to required fee). I was in shock … briefly … until I realized I couldn't accept as I was already scheduled for that time frame for another customer at better fee. Yay! Anyway, that was a surprise call.

I agree with other posters -- less printing maybe but more time and additional equipment requirements should call for additional fee not less plus let's not forget the high cost of vehicle fuel.
