When I was just very new at this, the packages were piggyback packages, lst and HELOC. Borrowers were maxing out their home equity. Some lenders were lending 125% of CLTV. I was signing 20 loans a day, with a stream of people lined out the door in Montecito, sitting in chairs waiting for their turn. If they were late for their appointment, we had to reschedule...NEXT? Our office always closed promptly at 5pm, the staff, overworked went home...then we had to meet offsite, cuz the lights went out and the alarm went on.
It was the craziest times of our industry...shoulda been there. On Friday's the whole office adjourned to an eatery on Coast Village Road to celebrate.
