 I'm a realtor/broker associate

I did not read all the other comments. This is my perspective. Realtors are kind of out of the picture by the time it comes to closing. They are not allowed to sit in closings at many banks in my area....we can show up to sign a few papers if needed and leave a gift and the keys. At a purchase closing, it's between the notary, the loan officer and the borrower. We do have a creed to protect the public but i wonder if sometimes, the realtor is just trying to look smart and on top of things? I have never had to deal with difficult realtors but maybe because I tell them I am also a realtor right up front...no need to impress me, I've been in the business 19 yrs, I will not be impressed!
