You implied but didn't specify that the 'mobile notary' work you want to do is loan doc related. If so, you may first need to study up on loan docs. It's a whole new knowledge base to acquire and you shouldn't take on the responsibility unless you know what you're doing. If you just want to be a traveling notary, that's a different story.
Either way, it's all about marketing, marketing, marketing. You could start with creating a good profile here, then getting very familiar with the Search function and reading as much as you can of what's already available on this forum. As Luckydog said, no one is going to hand over their hard-earned list of clients. However, there's a very comprehensive list of potential hiring parties accessible on the Signing Central (SC) tab above.
The list at SC includes lots of companies with less than stellar reputations (to be exceedingly kind...). In fact, some are probably out right crooks. That means you may have to chase your money - if you get paid at all. Others will only pay ridiculously low fees and may take a long time to do that. So look carefully at ratings and comments and believe the warnings you read. Most here recommend only contacting and applying to the ones who have at least a rating of 3.5 stars...
There are no shortcuts, unless you have some great connections somewhere.
