Yesterday I received 12 requests for loan signings. I have been an NSA for 15 years and have never gotten that many requests. I would have been up 24 hours trying to complete most of them. Since I am in the high risk group,(Old and ugly...have diabetes) I decline each and everyone of them. Some come by email and if I check a little later, it's been taken. What are notaries thinking? Governor Newsom just announced that this stay at home order may last a few months. Are notaries going to continue to perform signings and risk getting infected or infecting others? When will this craziness stop??? My commission ends in May of 2021 and I may have already finished my last signing at the beginning of this month. I can't take the chance of contracting this virus or giving it to one of my family members. I have a loving wife, 3 grown kids and I have 6 grandkids: 17, 14, 12, 5, 3, and 8 months...don't want to leave them yet. PLEASE THINK OF YOURSELVES AND OTHERS !!!! STAY SAFE AND AT HOME!!!!!!! |
