I think fixing a toilet requires more time than a signature and your stamp? It is few and far between when asked, but do it as a courtesy since I am there on their behalf anyway and getting paid. If it more than one document I charge, but give them a good discount. So far in 15 years, I haven't gotten paid to do any on the side, and maybe given away 6 or 7 notarizations in all that time.
