Re: Vaccination Cards will be a passport to enter many venues

I might agree about not needing this if we were already at a point where Covid-19 was a treatable disease, but we're still a long way from that. While the rate is thankfully declining, there were still more than 1500 deaths in the US from Covid just yesterday.

So it's still a fact that one person's decision to not get vaccinated could have a very negative - even deadly - impact on the life of someone else they don't even know, if they go out in public, so I think this is very different from other vaccines people get. Not everyone has yet had an opportunity to get vaccinated, and there's a very small number of people highly allergic to components of the vaccines who shouldn't get it. Plus, several of the new variants are highly transmissible and possibly more virulent. (There's still much to learn about most of them.) So IMO, If I was one of those allergic people, or I owned a business that employed someone who couldn't get a vaccine, I would want to be able to screen others from coming into my home or place of business who just didn't want to get a vaccine.

I know this is a controversial issue for some reason, so I'll stop here since this isn't JP. Wink (Sorry if I've already crossed the line...) Just my 2 cents.
