This is where the states that have notaries with a TP license earn their wages and should be paid more.
I run into this a lot here, and the simple answer they try and tell me here is an aka will make it fine, just have her sign her old name.
It doesn't because you still have to notarize the name on the docs which match a legal ID. She can attest to being one in the same and that's great, but I have to verify the name on the docs match the name on the legal ID for the Patriot Act.
Here they 99% change the name and resign. I have to scan over the ID and they will fix it.
