Yes. That’s true. Bad publicity can be good for business. I hate to give him any publicity. At this point, it does not matter very much because the refi business is on its way to about 5% of what it was in June of 2021,
Notaries are notorious for sticking around a dying loan signing industry in the worst of times. “Business is cyclical, things will bounce back”, “hope is just around the corner”, “the ARM business is really going to pick up the slack”, “RON is not secure. It will never happen.”
This time is truly different. It’s completely over with. It will no longer be a good hobby for retirees looking to get out of the house a few days a week. . The industry is going to a tiny fraction of its peak. US Bank in Missouri just fired 400 people from its local mortgage division last Friday.
I implore younger people, please get a real job in a legitimate industry. There is no such thing as a 6 figure income. In 2023, there will be no such thing as a 5 fugue income( after all expenses). Ronnie’s 7 figure income empire will come to an end. But he can now kick back and retire at age 30 ish. I feel so foolish. |
