notary clearly fully understands that this is not a free service ( unless they are a complete moron) . Who builds a web site to give away free services? EVERYBODY who calls for a notary to visit a hospital or senior facility fully understands that there is a fee involed. EVERYBODY who calls for a notary to come to their home fully understands that there is a fee involved The person may not like the fee. The only confusion that arises is when the caller wants to make a walk-in appointment. I don't take walk-in appointments.
In my exoerience, my fee has not been a problem. Yes, there are a few price shoppers out there. Some notaries post their fees on their website and allow for visitors to schedule their appointment right on the web site using a platform such as Calendly.
I am very close to offering that option. That's the trend amongst the top notaries doing GNW. I am just not quite there yet. |
