You did a better and deeper dive than I did and have provided much useful info. Sounds to me like referring people to the CA Bar Association website for more info on will requirements would be a great option. I think I'm going to start doing that when I get requests to notarize a will - along with continuing to tell them that all the attorney-prepared wills I see are witnessed, not notarized.
