CT's attorneys and title insurance companies will be looking and waiting, with the help of in-state bankers. They have been monitoring this for years ... just don't see any case law or in the news. (Hi Linda! Remember "settle out of court.")
Get the non-attorney notary, who will provide key information when faced with the stiff penalties and no negotiation, then go for those DEEP Pockets ... the lenders and out-of-state title insurance companies ... and the Signing Service that hired the non-attorney (if SS will still exist for CT residential loans). Just one or two with a little publicity will get the point across.
