I'm also in sync with the OP. The only possible thing I could think of that could have been done differently, as suggested, would have been to call the emergency number (or whatever they called it). But when we're slammed, once having done the basic notifications, chasing down all kinds of additional follow-up on a low-paying job for a signer that said they weren't going to sign, is probably not at the very top of the priority list. Having said that, though, I wouldn't have accepted that assignment to begin with. It's rare for me to see a seller package under 40 pages.
