Maybe I just don't know how to use Google Maps, but I just tried to do one that I traveled yesterday...and... nope... not even close. Street views do not work around here 75% of the time anyway. Still it will give you satellite, map or hybrid views.
But, what I like about Yahoo Maps is the customizing available. 1. I usually do the 'whole route' plus a very detailed 'end map'. 2. I can eliminate any unneeded directions (just shortens the print out). 3. Even eliminating some directions, I can have it also still 'show cumulative mileage'. 4. Tho' I rarely use this feature, you can get a detailed map of some complicated turn. 5 I find the mileage estimate to be right on the mark, but the time is usually a very little bit more than it actually takes me (no, I don't speed). 6 I really like the visual detailed enlarged 'end map'.
Once in a while, it just can't find some place, but will get me close. I usually map it before I make the confirming call to the B... and in the above-mentioned 'can't find it' situations, after speaking with B... oh, boy, is there ever a good reason!
