The Closers do not like to be questioned. They do not respond to calls for clarification. I had a closing that the affiant had dementia. There was a durable power of atty. The certificates on the docs were no appropriate to the situation. The ACKs could be resolved with a loose certificates but some of the docs contained jurats. The jurat supplied did not show the POA and did not list as signature on the documents. The package contained docs that had a POA line and other that did not. I questioned as to what they wanted to do. They dropped me 2 hours before the appt inferring I was not a "good fit". As a notary I could not notarize as presented. They had already determined and communicated that the borrower had dementia and that a POA was being used. This is a classic set up for fraud, not that it was what was going on, but the closers and the title company seemed uninterested in addressing issues. My advice .. Be Carefull with this company. |
