Re: What would you do? Warning: Sensitive content

We often encounter these precarious situations. I probably would have handled it just as you did but perhaps we should rethink it. Is the fee worth it? I think not. In the future I am going to be more cautious. That person knew you were a professional and he didn't care. You were in a very dangerous position. We are like jugglers weighing the options trying to please everyone and make a living doing it. I have been surrounded by huge dogs, had a borrower scream, break the pen and throw it across the room after ripping the form apart, had the borrowers teenage son stand across the table from me in his tidy whities while his parents signed documents for an hr (they never said a word to him), I had a lady lunge at me once to try to take documents away from me that she didn't want to sign....people are ridiculous sometimes and we put up with a lot. Your situation was extreme and I'm glad you made it out safely. We can longer take our safety for granted. We had a real estate agent murdered while showing a house. Her family knew she was showing a house her agency knew where she was but that did not keep her safe.
