.... Since NNA came up with the NSA certification and designation - there have been plenty of SS's trying to break into our fees one way or another.
These platforms are the darlings of the farsighted SS whose business model is being questioned for relevancy... they continue to be exempt from lawsuits as a non-relevant 3rd party BUT that may be changing because of their responsibility as a TRANSFORER/ PAYOR of Notary Fees in a real estate mortgage transaction. We know that our personal relationships with our local lenders, title/escrow, attorneys, realtors and biz organizations will always be our bread&butter.
These platforms will all even out eventually by Title who will themselves be forced to get into the biz and operate it internally. It matters little to the rest of us. Just keep on keeping on.
